Microsoft Executive Pete Thompson Joins SeaWell Networks Board of Directors
VP of Microsoft Mediaroom brings extensive market awareness, knowledge and experience
NEW YORK, May 1, 2013 – SeaWell Networks Inc., a leader in multiscreen video delivery solutions, today announced that Pete Thompson, Vice President of Microsoft Mediaroom, has joined the company’s Board of Directors.
As the Vice President of Microsoft Mediaroom, a technology leader for IPTV platforms and visionary for multiscreen experiences, Thompson brings extensive market awareness, knowledge and experience to the SeaWell team. Since joining Microsoft in 2006, Thompson’s successes include the development of a breakthrough in Natural User Interface with Microsoft Surface and leading the largest gaming and social network in the living room with Xbox LIVE.

Thompson earned a Bachelor’s Degree in International Economics at UCLA and a Master’s Degree in Management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
