Mobexx office move marks business success
Northwich, Cheshire, 04 July 2011 – Business growth sees rugged mobile computing solutions specialist Mobexx move its Cheshire headquarters from Runcorn to Northwich. The move to a larger office in a semi-rural location, with easy access to the motorway network, provides an improved working environment with better facilities for the Mobexx team and its customers.
“Mobexx is growing from strength to strength and this move marks a very successful three-years’ of trade in the rugged mobile computing market. Companies are turning to us to help automate their processes through IT to reduce costs and our solutions cut paperwork and improve business efficiency. In a very short time we have won important contracts with major organisations in the manufacturing, engineering, waste, recycling and public sectors,” says Mark Dale-Lace, Mobexx Director.
“Our product portfolio continues to expand, allowing us to provide best-in-class solutions for a wider range of applications. We have recently become the UK reseller for the DRS Armor range of rugged tablet PCs, which enhances our other offerings from Mentor Engineering, JLT Mobile Computers, Intermec, Getac, 2 Technologies, Handheld Europe and Datalogic,” he adds.
The new offices also provide on-site training and conference facilities and a dedicated workshop.
“We have everything we need on a single site. Not only is it a pleasant environment for our people, it also provides excellent training and meeting rooms for our customers – and the new workshop facility will allow us to turnaround in house repairs more quickly,” says Mark Dale-Lace.
The Mobexx team has also expanded, with Steve Smith joining the company as Operations Manager, after fulfilling various senior operational roles in the IT industry.
“We are pleased to have Steve on board. We have a major roll-out underway for a highly advanced waste management system and his assistance is invaluable. He brings years of experience to the company, having worked for a number of major players in the IT industry.” says Mark Dale-Lace.
