The current priority for operators is delivering an excellent customer experience. We have encouraged people to use more data, and now they are starting to, we look to see how we can stop them. Considering that Saudi Arabia is world-wide among the top 3 in personal video consumption on mobile and fixed networks and demand is growing further, LTE is one step in a development towards higher bandwidth.
Additionally, more spectrum is required in 3G and 4G to cater for such demand and potential refarming, advanced techniques like carrier aggregation will play a role in future in addition to hetnet.
