The mobile tag Universal 2D, 1D and NFC bar code reader is presented to GS1 members worldwide as well as distribution partners and brands.


Paris, France, 17 May 2011 – Mobile Tag, leader in 2D and 1D barcode and NFC Tag marketing solutions, is an official sponsor of the world GS1 congress, taking place on the 17th and 18th May in Paris.

Mobile Tag is honoured to be able to present its universal reading solution during this major GS1 event.

The most important representative of GS1 and its partners will be present and able to use the mobile tag solution for 1D and 2D bar codes.

The mobile tag reader was the N°1 application in the App store in France (Source iTunes FR) in 2010.

The mobile tag universal reader is also available in a white label format for companies that wish to integrate this reader into their respective applications.

The 1D (EAN, UPC) bar codes generated by GS1 are scanable by mobile phones which has transformed these traditionally industrial codes into effective marketing tools.

Mobile tag has developed tools that allow users to very simply manage campaigns via bar codes and NFC tags from a single platform.
