Motorola Solutions Announces Extended Review of Networks Deal by Chinese Antitrust Authority |

| SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – March 9, 2011 – Motorola Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: MSI) today announced that the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), China’s antitrust authority, has extended its review period for the previously announced sale of Motorola Solutions’ Networks business to Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) for up to an additional 60 days. Motorola Solutions will continue to work with MOFCOM to pursue approval of the transaction, which was originally announced in July 2010. Motorola Solutions remains committed to both its Networks customers and employees and will continue to work diligently to close the transaction as soon as possible. In addition to the receipt of MOFCOM approval as noted above, the closing of the transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions. |
