BLiNQ Networks Showcases Multi-Sector Fixed Wireless Access LTE Basestation in Cavium’s Booth 2M61 at MWC 2018

Live Demonstration Featuring a BLiNQ FW-300i 3-sector FWA eNodeB With an OCTEON Fusion-M CNF73xx Processor Running LTE Software Based on Cavium’s L1- L3 Stack

BARCELONA, SPAIN Feb 26th, 2018 – BLiNQ Networks (a CCI company), a pioneer in software defined transport solutions for non-line-of-sight (NLOS) wireless backhaul and Point-to-Multipoint Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) solutions, will demonstrate their FW-300i in Cavium’s (NASDAQ: CAVM) MWC 2018 booth #2M61. The BLiNQ FW-300i incorporates a Cavium OCTEON Fusion-M CNF73xx micro cell baseband processor to offer FWA services to hundreds of simultaneous users across 3 sectors.

Cavium’s OCTEON Fusion-M CNF73xx is the industry-leading micro cell baseband processor, capable of supporting up to 512 simultaneous LTE users and up to four frequency-independent 20MHz LTE sectors.

The BLiNQ Networks FW-300i is a fully integrated, 3-sector (180 degree), 2×2 MIMO LTE base station designed for Fixed Wireless access in the sub 6-GHz bands. The FW-300i is a small, all-outdoor, zero footprint LTE base station that is easily and unobtrusively deployed on towers, poles, building sidewalls, or rooftops. The FW300i system meets the requirements of network operators for high capacity, reliability and low-cost in small cell base station applications.
