To deliver and assure the 5G promises of advanced services, operators must have the ability to monitor and record at line rate to provide network and application quality monitoring, measurement and assurance. TOYO chose Napatech to meet the network performance requirements of its platform and solution. Napatech’s FPGA-based SmartNIC software and hardware allowed TOYO to scale to multi-100 Gbps in a portable, low-cost platform – which has never been achieved before.

Napatech products offer several benefits to designers of applications targeting mobile networks:

  • PERFORMANCE: A range of SmartNICs from 1 to 100 Gbps that enable high-volume, low-cost standard server architectures to scale from the ultra-low end to the extreme high-end of performance.
  • INNOVATION: FPGA-based software and hardware for standard servers offering agility and programmability to developers to deliver hardware performance and the speed of software innovation.
  • ECONOMICS: A wide range of price-performance configurations to meet the exact price profile of leading apps and services, designed to be used in open and standard server platforms.

Shunsuke Takasu, VP corporate strategy at TOYO Corporation, said: “Our customers’ mission is to fulfill committed service level agreements with their end-users even as the industry transitions to newer standards and ever-higher data rates. To ensure we can help our customers deliver on this goal, we have selected Napatech’s FPGA-based SmartNIC software and hardware for our SYNESIS solution. With Napatech’s underlying technology, we’re able to improve our customers’ ability to provide outstanding service for their end-users while also reducing costs. This is a game-changer for us and our customers.”

Jarrod J.S. Siket, CMO at Napatech, said: “With network speeds increasing, many of TOYO’s high-end service provider customers need to test systems and infrastructures at 100 Gbps line rate. The company chose Napatech to accommodate this need, and TOYO’s customers can now generate highly reliable test results, while greatly enhancing efficiency. Their customers also enjoy vastly enhanced reliability and significant cost savings. We congratulate TOYO on the launch of this product and anticipate its great success, and we thank the company for choosing Napatech.”
