Nawras adds Bollywood music from Hungama Mobile to Backstage

Muscat, 17 June 2011 – Leading the mobile entertainment field in Oman, Nawras is announcing the launch of an exciting new Backstage bundle featuring all the latest tracks and popular songs from Bollywood. Backstage customers can now have access to a catalogue of 1 million tracks from the Hungama music label, from where they can download and listen to as many songs as they like on their mobile and PC.  The new Bollywood package offers great value at only 1 Omani Rial per month.

 

Top ten hits including Dhinka Chika, from the album ‘Ready’, lk Junoon and Senorita from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Pee Loon Hoto Ki Sargam from ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’ and popular love song ‘Tere Mast Mast Do Nain’ from Dabangg can all now be easily downloaded to a PC or mobile with Backstage.

Hungama Mobile’s content library includes hit music from films such as Ready, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Always Kabhi Kabhi, Tees Maar Khan and Dabanng, as well as music from the films of leading superstars such as Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.

 

Backstage from Nawras now presents a fantastic selection of Arabic, Western and Bollywood bundles to suit different musical tastes.  Both the Arabic and Western music bundles can be enjoyed for a minimal subscription of 1.9 Omani Rials per month while a new combination bundle featuring all three genres can be chosen for a monthly subscription of only 2.9 Omani Rials. 

 

  

There are two easy ways to sign up for Backstage.  Customers can use their mobile phone or handset to go to the Nawras BawaBaty portal at wap.bawabaty.om to click on the Backstage link.  Through this wap portal, a list of compatible handsets can be seen together with the different bundle details.  Successful subscription is confirmed by SMS.

 

Subscriptions can also be activated by simply sending an SMS to 90919 with the keyword ‘Arabic’, ‘Western’, ‘Bollywood’ or ‘Unlimited’ according to the bundle chosen. 

 

Backstage also comes with a PC client, enabling songs to be downloaded to a personal computer or laptop.

 

There are no data charges levied for downloading tracks.  Customers can enjoy 30 days of Backstage by downloading and listening to unlimited music using the Backstage application on their mobile or PC.  In addition, 10 tracks can be kept each month and transferred onto other music devices and CDs, all for the price of the chosen subscription.

 

Backstage not only offers unlimited music downloads for mobile phones and PCs but unlocks privileged access to top names in the industry. Nawras customers can be amongst the first to get their hands on exclusive material ahead of release dates and even have the opportunity to meet their music heroes, attend recording sessions and win VIP concert tickets.
