Nawras announces change in senior management team

Muscat, 20 February 2013 – Omani Qatari Telecommunications Company SAOG – Nawras, is announcing the departure of Chief Marketing Officer, Martin Lyne, who left the company today to take up a new appointment in Europe. Ross Cormack, Chief Executive Officer will be taking over the role until a new Chief Marketing Officer is appointed.

Ross Cormack said, “On behalf of the Nawras family, I would like to thank Martin for his valuable contribution to the company and we all wish him well in his new position. During his time at Nawras, Martin drove the introduction of a new range of exciting choices for our customers. His dedication to communicating the tremendous benefits of the Network Turbocharging programme is resulting in increasing numbers of customers enjoying higher speeds, greater capacity and wider coverage from Al Bustan to beyond Al Musannah.”

Nawras family members will continue to work closely together to deliver a rewarding customer experience and remain dedicated to delighting customers in every aspect of their communication experience.

The recruitment process to appoint a new Chief Marketing Officer is already underway.
