New BlackBerry plans start at just one Omani Rial

Muscat, 28 May 2013 – Nawras BlackBerry customers are now able to benefit from plans that include greater data allowances as well as unlimited BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) and emails, with no increase in price. Oman’s customer friendly communications provider has boosted every BlackBerry plan to give customers much more value. The company has also introduced two new options, one of which is a weekly plan with a data allowance of 120 MB, for just one Omani Rial.

Maha Al-Balushi, BlackBerry Product Manager, said, “Nawras has been leading the BlackBerry market for a number of years now and we are constantly looking for ways which reward our customers with the best value and the latest innovations. Today we have totally transformed our BlackBerry portfolio by providing much greater value at no extra cost on our existing plans and adding two new entry level plans starting from just one Omani Rial for customers looking for a low priced option. The expanded portfolio now offers Nawras BlackBerry customers the freedom to choose from a wide range of plans tailored to help them get more from their Nawras service.”

The Nawras BlackBerry prepaid weekly plan now has an increased data allowance of 500 MB for just two Omani Rials while the monthly prepaid plan gives customers double the original data, with 2GB for only 9 Omani Rials per month.

Selecting the Nawras Global Plan gives a huge data increase from 2 GB up to 10 GB of data and 60 MB of free roaming data while customers choosing a National Plan will now enjoy 5 GB of data with an increased amount of 15 MB of free roaming data in GCC countries when using partner operators in the region.

Data has doubled on the Lite Plan which now includes 2 GB instead of 1 GB while a new choice of postpaid plan features 550 MB of inclusive data for just four Omani Rials.

Nawras customers can register for any BlackBerry plan by sending BB to 1500. Full details of all the exciting products and services offered by Oman’s customer friendly communications provider can be found by visiting the company’s website at www.nawras.om.
