NetCracker’s Social Responsibility Program Leads with Platinum Sponsorship of Premier Cable Industry Charitable Event

VAIL, COLORADO — April 9, 2015 —  NetCracker Technology announced today it will once again sponsor champion Paralympic alpine skier Andrew Kurka at Adaptive Spirit’s 20th Annual Event, which is set for April 9-12, 2015, in Vail, Colorado. Adaptive Spirit is a not-for-profit, non-commercial trade association headed up by leading U.S. cable operators.  

“I am thrilled to have NetCracker’s support once again, which demonstrates its commitment to me and my team members,” said Andrew Kurka. “NetCracker has been with me throughout my career and continues to be instrumental in making my journey possible.”

Andrew Kurka was a U.S. team member at the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, and won a gold medal in the downhill event at the 2014 World Cup Panorama.

“We are honored to support Andrew and all Paralympic athletes who have demonstrated their ability to overcome great obstacles through sheer determination and commitment,” said Joanna Larivee, Senior Director of Marketing at NetCracker. “Our continued sponsorship of Adaptive Spirit’s Annual Event is a very important part of our social responsibility program. In addition to securing funding for the U.S. Paralympic Ski Team, Adaptive Spirit is committed to increasing knowledge and awareness of the team and the Paralympics. This event is the largest annual fundraiser for the U.S. Paralympic Ski Team, introducing a unique opportunity to network with members of the cable industry as well as with Paralympic athletes.
