Netgem’s IPTV and OTT solutions gain momentum at IP&TV World Forum 2012

 

Neuilly-sur-Seine & IP&TV World Forum, London – March 20th, 2012 – Netgem (www.netgem.com), a leader in connected home technologies and solutions, announced today a new milestone for the company, customer wins, and an extension of its hybrid OTT product range.

Confirming the success of diversification and international development, Netgem just passed a new landmark figure of four million HD IPTV set-top boxes in twelve countries shipped to date with Netgem software suite.

Netgem continues to build upon this momentum and is announcing two new customers:

·         Mediaserv, the Telecom Operator for the Reunion Island, French Antillas and Guyana ;

·         Wibox, an emerging French Internet service provider and telecom operator.

Mediaserv will introduce next generation TV in Q2 2012 leveraging Netgem’s Hybrid/OTT technologies to enrich the local DTT broadcast with Video services. Wibox, the leading provider of the Wimax technology in France, will accelerate its FTTH rollout in rural areas, based on Netgem’s hardware and software technologies.

At IP&TV World Forum 2012, Netgem will introduce a new IPTV solution for Broadband Operators which brings the power of nCloud software suite to newly released N7700 hardware platform. It will demonstrate its latest nCloud software suite innovations which enable operators to manage the distribution of TV and media services in the Connected Home through a unified consumer experience. On Stand #38, the company will showcase its next-generation user interface, its new “Managed OTT” solutions; its latest multi-screen nCloud features, and share its innovation road map.
