New Call Telecom’s CEO shortlisted for North West Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Nigel Eastwood has been chosen as a finalist in the prestigious annual North West Entrepreneur of the Year Awards

Leading value telecoms company New Call Telecom is proud to announce its CEO and founder, Nigel Eastwood, has been shortlisted for this Award which reflects his central role in the strong growth of the business.

New Call has expanded as a result of the success with customers of its award winning broadband and phone offers since it relocated its Indian contact centre from Mumbai, India, to Burnley in 2011. As a result of New Call’s growth and its commitment to recruitment, training and apprenticeships the company now employs almost 200 people.

As well as growth in the UK Nigel has spearheaded the Company’s international expansion. He recently announced New Call plans to invest US $100 million in India buying mid-level telecom companies focused on providing innovative value added services in the broadband space.
