New Ooredoo Care Feature Makes Smart Devices Even Smarter

Enriching the digital lives of customers, Ooredoo has launched ‘Ooredoo Care’; a new feature in its award-winning App to help users set up their smartphone and run basic diagnostics to ensure their device is in tip-top shape. The new feature also offers a one-click solution for smartwatches and Ooredoo TV, alongside the Ooredoo Oman App, to help customers keep all their devices running smoothly.

Feras bin Abdullah Al Shaikh, Consumer Director at Ooredoo, said, “We care for all aspects of our customers’ lives and are committed to delivering innovative solutions to help people enjoy exciting and rewarding digital experiences. The Ooredoo Care feature will allow subscribers to optimise their smartphone by applying the recommended settings to keep their device working efficiently, then detecting any issues further down the line and resolving them automatically.”

Available for iOS and Android, Ooredoo Care automatically detects the customer’s phone make and model and offers a step-by-step guide to setting up the device. Android users can also use the Device Health feature to auto-optimise the phone’s settings and monitor battery and CPU temperature, as well as unlocking additional notification settings to customise the device.

The Ooredoo Care feature is available on the Ooredoo Oman App by going to the side menu, clicking on Help & Support then selecting Ooredoo Care. Users can download the Ooredoo App for free from the Apple Store or Google Play.
