New Version of MDSL TEM Vision Delivers Greater Global Visibility of Enterprise Telecom Spend

Enhanced Telecom Expense Management reporting tool provides
Multi-National Corporates with unrivalled insight and business intelligence

London, Nov 12 2013 – MDSL, the leading provider of global Telecom Expense Management (TEM) and Market Data Management (MDM) solutions, announced today a major upgrade to its existing Telecom Expense Management (TEM) solution, TEM Vision.

TEM Vision is MDSL’s powerful entry level TEM reporting tool, designed to give organisations immediate global visibility of their Fixed Line and Wireless telecom assets and expenses, and answer the key question: where is our telecom spend going?

Using state-of-the art, map-based technology, TEM Vision produces spectacular management dashboard reports on the key metrics needed by multi-nationals to run their business effectively (total spend, number of users, % spend per vendor, cost trends etc. ) – freeing them to focus on making decisions based on timely, accurate and comprehensive data. No programming or database management experience is required.

The new version of TEM Vision provides a range of significant improvements to its interface and functionality designed to enhance the platform’s speed, usability and productivity:

  • The customer’s site information is automatically geo-coded on entry, allowing businesses instantly to identify their physical locations on TEM Vision’s map-based interface and analyse their spend by geographical region as well as by the standard categories (country, business unit, cost centre etc.).
  • Managers can now drill down through spend data to provide detailed reporting and analysis at individual user level, if required.
  • The invoice loading module for automatically scanning and entering carrier billing data has been significantly enhanced to improve speed and accuracy, removing the need for any manual intervention.
  • The Fixed Line asset management tools have been upgraded in line with the functionality of the existing Wireless Expense Management tools.
  • New Key Metrics allow you to analyse roaming, international and domestic fixed and wireless spend at a glance, as well as identifying high spending users and unallocated devices.

Ben Mendoza, MDSL CEO and founder, commented: “The new version marks a significant improvement to TEM Vision’s speed and functionality, designed to deliver a cost-effective, functional and easy-to-use window into the enterprise’s telecom inventory, and to allow managers to report on every element with just a couple of mouse- clicks. We believe these enhancements will maintain TEM Vision’s position at the forefront of telecom analysis and business intelligence tools today.”

He continued: “Squeezing financial costs out of the enterprise remains a constant requirement of every business. We have developed this latest version of TEM Vision specifically to assist businesses in achieving that objective and to make it as easy as possible to identify areas for potential additional savings.”.
