Microsemi Announces Launch Of Dual Port PoE Passive
Hub At IP EXPO

London, Monday 30 September 2013: Microsemi Corporation (NASDAQ: MSCC) is launching its new PowerDsine 9002GHO at this year’s IP EXPO, the number one end-to-end enterprise IT event. The new dual port Power over Ethernet (PoE) passive hub for outdoor installations is IEEE 802.3at compliant and provides high-performance data connectivity and PoE to all its ports. It is the first hub of its kind designed for use outdoors.
The passive hub enables wireless LAN access points, security network cameras and other IP terminals to receive power and data over standard Ethernet cables with no changes to existing network infrastructure. It guarantees 30 watts of power per port and operates safely and reliably in outdoor applications.

The hub also features integral surge protection to safeguard indoor equipment, plug-and-play installation, and supports both 802.3af- and 802.3at-powered devices.
