NEWTEL CHOOSES VIATEL TO UPGRADE NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE AND PROVIDE INCREASED BANDWIDTH ACROSS JERSEY & GUERNSEY
Viatel is pleased to announce a successful partnership with Newtel to deploy a complete network infrastructure upgrade, enabling substantially increased bandwidth.
Newtel is an independent telco offering communication solutions for both business and residential customers in Jersey & Guernsey the Isle of Man and beyond. Newtel was looking to move away from its traditional SDH platform and to provide services to its customers over a high speed DWDM infrastructure.
Viatel engineered a complex technical solution to meet Newtel¹s requirements. In addition to providing 2x 10G diverse wavelength circuits, Viatel¹s flexible approach in delivering solutions enabled the company to also provide Newtel with pre-configured hardware and on-going support which delivered an end-to-end solution.
