Executives from Tier-1 global IP network provider lead industry discussions on key issues at national and international engagements in Q3 2011

 

NEW YORK – July 7, 2011 – NTT America, a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) and a Tier-1 global IP network services provider, today announced that key executives will be delivering stand-alone presentations at key industry events during the third quarter of 2011.

  • Light Reading’s IPv6 2011: The Time is Now! – July 14 in New York

At Light Reading’s exclusive event, “IPv6 2011: The Time is NOW!”, NTT America’s Chief Technology Officer Doug Junkins will deliver the keynote address on the status of IPv6 adoption and how the depletion of IPv4  has impacted service providers and enterprises. Junkins will share insight on the transition mechanisms today to help ease the migration to IPv6. Junkins will present from 2 to 2:30 p.m. (EST).   • CTO Telecom Summit – Sept. 18-21 in Scottsdale, AZ

Junkins will join other telecom CTOs during a 3-day conference comprised of focused sessions designed to increase collaboration and mindshare between major industry players. Discussion topics will focus on how companies are adapting their products and services to respond to changes and trends in the industry such as increase in mobile demand and capabilities and opportunities with the cloud.   • Carriers Ethernet World – Sept. 27-29 in London

In a presentation titled, “Outlining the Future of 100G Ethernet,” Wheeler will assess the economics of and timeline for 100GigE deployment and provide insight into how the technology will integrate with existing DWDM systems.
