Nujira builds global presence by appointing new FAE Manager of China

CAMBRIDGE, U.K. – 10 September 2014 – Nujira Ltd, the global Envelope Tracking (ET) chip company, has today announced the appointment of William Tse as Field Application Engineer Manager (FAE) in China. With strong connections in the Greater China RF community, the appointment of Tse further highlights the growing customer demand across Asia Pacific, as well as Nujira’s expanding base of operations throughout the region.

Within his new role at Nujira, Tse will be focusing on supporting customers in China and Taiwan, an increasingly important market for envelope tracking driven by the growth of LTE networks, including FDD and TDD variants in the region. Tests by Nujira have shown that you can achieve a 40% saving in energy-per-bit with ET when transmitting on TD-LTE.

Tse will also be helping to build upon Nujira’s existing relationships with chip set, PA, and test equipment partners across the region and also participate in industry events and seminars. He will also work closely with industry bodies and operators as they make important decisions about the use of Envelope Tracking in their networks.

Tse has an extensive track record in field application, with previous experience at global technology brands Huawei, Richardson Electronics and Scintera. Working across both engineering and management, he has delivered RF consultancy and technical support to both back-end technology providers as well as brand-name electronics suppliers.

Commenting on the appointment, Tim Haynes, CEO of Nujira said: “Driven by increasing demand from customers wanting to take advantage of Nujira’s products, experience and ET system knowledge, we are rapidly looking to expand both our customer support and wider standing within Asian markets. As part of this goal, Nujira will require expertise of the existing Asia Pacific marketplace, as well as a knowledgeable ear-to-the-ground for any future development within the region. It is this role that William will help us to fulfil. Through his technical expertise, wide array of contacts and detailed knowledge of the region, we are certain that William will a play a vital role in the future success of our expansion.”

Speaking about his new role, William Tse said, Asia and particularly China has always been an exciting market for both RF engineers and the wider technology community. Now, with rapidly growing demand LTE networks increasing levels of interest in Envelope Tracking, I can’t think of a better place to be than working with Nujira. While expanding into any new region is always a challenge, it is also an enormous opportunity, and I look forward to helping Nujira make the most of it.”
