Online surveillance camera store NetworkWebcams.co.uk brings affordable HD Video Surveillance to UK Small Businesses

UK-based online surveillance camera retailer NetworkWebcams.co.uk is launching a new three-tier, cloud-based video surveillance service called Cameramanager into the UK from this week.

UK small businesses (SMBs) can go to the online retailer’s website at: http://www.networkwebcams.co.uk/cameramanager-cloud-surveillance/ to view the options and select services which range from £9 to £64 per month depending on the amount of cloud-based storage required.

“NetworkWebcams has teamed up with the market leading network camera manufacturer Axis Communications to ensure that selected cameras can be delivered and made live very quickly. The cameras can be purchased online at the same time as the surveillance service, which has at its core the ability to view and record in HD.”

To date, many UK SMBs have resisted buying surveillance systems for their premises because they do not want the ongoing expense of managing the associated recording equipment.

Frank Crouwel, managing director or NetworkWebcams.co.uk, said:
“Our Cameramanager surveillance service does away with this worry and cost. The small monthly payments; the ability to view images from any connected device; and the one click set up which Axis cameras offer; all combine to offer a highly compelling, fool-proof surveillance service.”

Cameramanager already serves over 50,000 camera connections around the world. Before coming to the UK it built customer bases in the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Brazil, Latvia, Russia and Turkey. In the UK and Eire the Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS) market is growing revenues at 33.4% per year so that it will be worth £15m by 2016.[1]

Cameramanager is designed for the new ‘connected’ generation who do everything while connected to the Internet from their PC, tablet or smartphone. Cameramanager provides an easy to setup, highly customisable interface which enables users to view, store and analyse up to 60 days of recording, saving only video sequences which require further investigation.

The arrival of fast broadband and 4G networks in the UK soon makes this mature VSaaS service compelling for many UK-based SMB owners and managers wanting to keep a ‘remote eye’ on their office, shop or other assets while they are on the move. It is possible to set up motion alerts which automatically push text messages to users’ mobile devices when movement is detected. It just gives them the peace of mind which many are looking for, all for a highly affordable monthly subscription fee.

Crouwel added:

“We believe that the time is right to enter the UK market with a highly robust, easy to set up and use VSaaS service. We have the largest UK online store for surveillance cameras in the shape of networkwebcams.co.uk and we know we can reach a good percentage of the market for this service online.”
