ONTOLOGY BRINGS THE POWER OF SEMANTIC SEARCH TO MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS 2013

London, UK – January 29, 2013: Ontology Systems, the semantic search company for structured enterprise application data, is set to show visitors to Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month, how mobile operators can use semantic search technology across their multivendor networks, OSS and BSS estates to find the dependencies between the things that matter to their business – like customers, services, bills and infrastructure – and make them available to their users and processes.

Visitors to the conference will be able to see how Ontology’s award-winning semantic search is also used by leading mobile network operators to provide real-time, revenue prioritized, customer impact analysis; speed-up and de-risk migration projects; and to maintain the data integrity and correlation of multiple applications and information hubs.

Benedict Enweani, CEO and founder of Ontology Systems, commented: “Mobile operators can benefit enormously from the rapid expansion of powerful semantic and graph search capabilities that have been championed by companies like Google and Facebook.   We are looking forward to meeting with mobile operators at the conference and sharing the spectacular results achieved with our global customers. These include global operators like BT, Level 3, Telenor, Telkom and Vodacom, where we have been able to deliver these applications very quickly and at a fraction of the expected cost.”

The conference is being held at Fira Gran Via, Barcelona from February 25th to 28th.  To request a meeting or demo with Ontology, please click here.

About Ontology Systems

Ontology Systems is revolutionising how companies use their application data.  Using semantic search technology, Ontology applies the power, simplicity and speed of search to business applications across the enterprise.     Search and centralise applications, databases, files, spread sheets …anywhere, without the cost and risk of integration.

Ontology gives CSPs the agility to respond by doing away with the cost, risk, and delay of the integration typically needed to rationalize infrastructure for “smarter and faster pipes”, or to exploit OSS and BSS data for “smarter more personal services”.  Both of these approaches are already delivering increased margins and lower operational costs

CSPs are faced with the margin erosion caused by deregulation and OTT competition.  Ontology gives CSPs the agility to respond by doing away with the cost, risk, and delay of the integration typically needed to rationalize infrastructure for “smarter and faster pipes”, or to exploit OSS and BSS data for “smarter more personal services”.  Both of these approaches are already delivering increased margins and lower operational costs.

Founded in 2006 and headquartered in London, UK, Ontology customers include Telenor, BT, Level3, Three UK, Vodacom, MBNL, Internet Solutions and Telkom SA.
