Ooredoo Sawalif Gives Customers Worry-Free Calling Services

Muscat, Oman

Ooredoo is giving its customers a massive value-added reward with the expansion of its Sawalif pay per call service to all prepaid customers. Charging just 79 Baizas for a one hour voice or video call to any Ooredoo number, the service is the perfect way to catch up with friends and family without ever having to worry about running out of credit.

Feras bin Abdullah Al Sheikh, Director of Consumer Sales at Ooredoo, said, “Today we are fulfilling one of the most requested demands made by prepaid customers and delivering a more cost-effective and stress-free way for people to connect at any time. As a result of in-depth research into how we can best meet their needs, we decided to expand the accessibility of Sawalif to bring its convenience and economical voice and video call solutions to every corner of Oman. Now, for just 600 Baizas per week and 79 Baizas for every one hour call, customers can link-up however they want while enjoying a new level of affordability.”

Sawalif was originally launched as part of the company’s long-standing efforts to champion human growth through cost-effective voice and video solutions. Initially exclusive to Shahry postpaid customers, Sawalif is now accessible to both prepaid users as well as fans of the highly popular youth-focused Shababiah. Customers can opt-in through the Ooredoo Oman app or by dialling *141*98#.

Feras added, “Over the years we noticed a significant increase in the popularity of Sawalif as more and more families discovered the value its highly affordable call rates provide. With zero hidden fees, Sawalif allows customers to experience longer calls without worrying about running out of credit, facilitating stress-free living and bringing loved ones together no matter where they are in Oman.”
