Ooredoo Takes Shahry Plans To New Heights With Up To Four Times More Data

As internet use in the Sultanate grows rapidly with more apps and video streaming services, Ooredoo has multiplied the data on all four of its new Shahry bundles to meet the rising needs of its customers. With this new promotion, those who sign up for a two year contract will receive four times the regular amount of data and a smartphone voucher worth up to 150 OMR. Customers who prefer a 12 month contract will enjoy triple the data allowance.

Jaffer Al Khaboori, Director of Planning, Insights and Performance at Ooredoo said, “With our increasingly digital lives depending on fast data with big quotas, Ooredoo are entirely focused on creating the best packages for our customers and the best network coverage. This promotion is the latest in a long line of initiatives which are designed to ensure that whether customers are streaming video, listening to music or socialising through their favourite apps, they can be sure they are getting the best value on the best network”.

Under the new promotion, Shahry 500 MB, Shahry 2GB, Shahry 5GB, and Shahry 10 GB will provide quadruple the data allowance for customers who opt for a 24 month contract. Those customers will also receive handset discounts worth 20 OMR, 50 OMR, 100 OMR, and 150 OMR respectively. Subscribers who opt for a one year agreement will receive triple the amount of data on any Shahry bundle of their choice.
