REDWOOD CITY, Calif. & MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS, Barcelona – February 18, 2014 – Openwave Mobility, a software innovator enabling operators to manage and monetize mobile data, today announced that its CEO will be in a joint presentation with C Spire Wireless, one of the largest privately held wireless communications company, sharing insights on pricing innovation that drive new revenues for Operators at Mobile World Congress 2014. Additionally, Openwave Mobility will be present during the four-day event in the App Planet at Hall 8.1, Stand 8.1, I51.

As mobile data volumes continue to grow, operators are evolving the way they charge consumers for usage. Experimenting with innovative pricing models can pay dividends in driving incremental revenue, higher margins and customer loyalty. During the hour and a half session titled ‘Driving New Revenues and Relationships for Operators and Brands’, John Giere, CEO of Openwave Mobility and Hu Meena, CEO of C Spire, along with other industry leaders will discuss the deployment of Openwave Mobility’s Promotion and Pricing Innovation (PPI) Mobile Data Charging solution that has simultaneously reduced subscriber churn and increased average revenue per user (ARPU).

From the 24th-27th February, Openwave Mobility will be showcasing Integra4, the industry’s first layer 7 software-defined network (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) platform. Integra4 allows operators to manage, analyze, optimize and launch interactive mobile data pricing models resulting in increased revenue and subscriber satisfaction.
