Panasas® SiteSync™ Provides the Scale-Out Answer for Big Data Replication
SUNNYVALE, California, Nov. 13, 2014 – Panasas, the leader in hybrid scale-out NAS for technical computing and enterprise environments, today announced SiteSync, a high-speed, parallel replication and file transfer solution that solves the challenge of moving massive data sets across the LAN quickly and with ease. Designed for use with the Panasas ActiveStor® high-performance hybrid storage appliance, the powerful new SiteSync software can replicate data up to 10x faster than conventional file transfer utilities. SiteSync provides customers with extremely fast and flexible parallel data migration and synchronization for disaster recovery, disk-to-disk backup and remote archive applications.

SiteSync is available now to Panasas customers using ActiveStor systems with the PanFS 6.0 operating system.
