PANASONIC INTRODUCES NEW PRODUCTS FOR BROADCAST PROFESSIONALS
Plus; European availability and RRPs for products announced at NAB
Wiesbaden, Germany, 25th August, 2011 — Panasonic Corporation today announced the launch of four professional products to the broadcast market. The company is releasing two new LCD video monitors, a live switcher and a new full HD integrated video camera, all of which will be showcased at the BIRTV exhibition in Beijing this week.
The BT-L2150 and the BT-L1500 LCD video monitors are designed for broadcasting and production use. The new monitors support two HD SDI inputs and employ LED backlighting. In contrast to the advanced functionality and rugged build quality of the earlier BT-LH series, the new BT-L series focuses on basic functionality and is intended to achieve high cost-performance for the user.
Panasonic’s new live switcher, the AV-HS410, is a compact, all-in-one 19 type rack-size 1 ME live switcher. Excellent scalability is provided by optional board slots enabling support for a variety of input signals, including 3D cameras, and through the provision of an SDK that makes it possible to add software-based functions.
Finally, the AW-HE120 full HD integrated remote video camera with a pan-tilt head offers a compact design. Approximately 60% smaller and lighter than its predecessor, it is designed to be easy to install and is available in two colours, pearl white and black metallic, to match a variety of usage situations e.g. chapels and wedding halls and theatrical performances or events.
Panasonic has also announced the European RRPs and availability for three of its handheld camera recorders that were announced earlier this year at NAB 2011 as follows:
– the AG-HPX250EJ P2 handheld camera recorder with master-quality 10-bit, 4:2:2 AVC-Intra recording, Full HD Image Sensor (22x zoom lens with 3 independent rings for Iris, Zoom and Focus) will be available at the end of September 2011 with an RRP of €4,990 excluding VAT.
– the AG-AC130EJ AVCCAM HD handheld camera recorder with Full HD New 3MOS high sensitivity image sensor, a new 22X HD zoom lens with 3 independent rings, two SD card slots for relay or simultaneous recording and DV recording will be available at the end of October 2011 with an RRP of €3,490 excluding VAT.
– the AG-AC160EJ AVCCAM HD handheld camera recorder offers Full HD Variable Frame Rate, SD/HD-SDI Output, 59.94Hz/50Hz switchable and Linear PCM Audio in addition to the features of the AG-AC130EJ and will be available at the end of September 2011 with an RRP of €3,990 excluding VAT.
