Aberdeen, United Kingdom—19 December 2013 – Petrotechnics, the global leader for transforming frontline Operational Performance and Lowering Operational Risk for Hazardous Industries, announces the expansion of its Business Development and Consultancy capabilities with the appointment of senior business consultant, Steve Holbrey and senior account manager Andy Smith. The new appointees add further expertise to the company’s world class business consultancy team.

Andy Smith and Steve Holbrey have been appointed to accelerate sales and consulting activities across Petrotechnics’ traditional markets in Oil and Gas as well as in new fields including transport, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and chemicals.

Andy Smith brings a PHD in Environmental Sciences and Engineering and over 10 years of experience working within EHS. He has worked intimately in the Petrochemical and Chemical industry for leading companies including GE Analytical Instruments, GE Water & Process and Gensuite.

Steve Holbrey has served as Engineering and Solutions architect and has over 20 years of pre-sales, consultancy and implementations experience working with market leading companies including Siemens PDS and Schneider Electric.
