Phoenix wins a three year managed IT contract with pharmacy system supplier Cegedim Rx
Phoenix, the leading provider of Cloud and IT managed services across the UK, has been selected as preferred supplier for Cegedim Rx, the leading supplier of computer software solutions and services to the UK pharmacy market.
The three-year contract will see Phoenix deliver a fully outsourced and tailored managed hardware support services to 3,500 of Cegedim Rx‘s customers across 4,000 pharmacies and retail outlets across the UK.
Cegedim Rx is at the forefront of the national electronic prescription programmes, supporting pharmacies in England, Scotland and Wales. The contract win follows a detailed procurement and competitive tender process.
As part of the contract, Phoenix will deliver a break fix service, service desk, remote support and logistics management. This new contract between Cegedim Rx and Phoenix will help pharmacies develop and enhance IT services, achieve significant savings in IT costs and take full advantage of economies of scale and utilisation of the support services, shared by many of Phoenix’s customers.
