Pressac reaches 3 million milestone in sales of centralised DSL broadband filters

European market leaders in termination equipment, Pressac Communications announces it has reached a significant milestone in the dispatching of its centralised DSL broadband filters.

Pressac confirmed it has dispatched its three millionth centralised filter to its worldwide blue chip customer base which includes major network operators such as British Telecom, Q-Tel, Batelco and Eircom to name a few.

Pressac’s range of centralised filter products provide customer premises DSL filtering solutions for ADSL, ADSL2, and ADSL2+ technologies. These filters separate the voice and data aspects of the signals allowing both computers and telephones to be used simultaneously.

Peter Burbidge managing director of Pressac Communications commented: “To reach this milestone is a fantastic coup for the organisation. We’ve created close relationships with BT and Eircom over the last decade and are now looking to develop further relationships with similar businesses in countries across the world.”

Pressac Communications is celebrating 50 years of success in manufacturing networking cabling solutions for both telecommunications network operators and for structured cabling systems within buildings. Pressac has significant experience in the design and manufacture of both passive and active network termination equipment and telecommunications signalling equipment over copper and GSM links.

Pressac has recently developed a unique end user installable VDSL2 filter that negates the need for an engineer to install. Pressac is also assisting businesses in developing hardware for security monitoring equipment and have developed a GSM signal strength tester for use in the emerging smart metering market.
