PT Telkom Indonesia selects Clarity OSS for Broadband
Indonesia’s largest telecommunication and network services provider extends its relationship with Clarity to its broadband network
Sydney, Australia: 22 June 2011 – Clarity, the award-winning provider of unified solutions designed to simplify the operations of communication service providers, today announced that the next phase of its rollout for PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TELKOM) has commenced. The latest deployment enables Fulfilment and Assurance capabilities for TELKOM’s broadband access network.
Since 2006, TELKOM has undertaken a transformation program to support their Next Generation Network (NGN) initiative. A key component of the program is the migration to a flexible and unified operational support system. To date, TELKOM has unified their Switching, Transmission, Multimedia, Fixed Wireless and Metro-E domains onto the Clarity OSS solution. This latest solution for Broadband Access continues the consolidation of TELKOM’s networks onto one management platform and supports their commitment to delivering excellent customer service. In this phase the Clarity solution will provide:
· Inventory Management
· Discovery and Reconciliation
· Service Configuration and Activation
· Auto-provisioning
· Trouble Ticketing
By unifying their network management using the Clarity OSS, TELKOM is able to implement an umbrella solution, to support their entire NGN topology, including DSLAM, MSAN, WiMAX and GPON inventory.
