Leading Developer of Customer Interactive Solutions Will Discuss Social Media and Multi-channel Communication Relationship-Building Customer Service Tools

The event will take place October 2 – 5 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas. McFarland is a panelist in the session “Demystifying Social Media Integration in the Customer Service Environment,” to be conducted on Wednesday, October 3 at 1:30 p.m.  He will also join the session “Multichannel Communication and the New Customer/Company Relationship,” which will take place on Thursday, October 4 at 1:00 p.m.

In each of these sessions, McFarland will explain how social media and multi-channel streams can be integrated into the business owner’s customer service processes. These contact points can include chat, texts, emails, social media messaging and wallboarding, in addition to traditional voice calls. McFarland will also explain how effective customer service solutions must incorporate multiple communication channels to remain relevant in a peer-networked society.
