Rebrand sees Wirebird take off as Timico Technology Services

01 March 2016 – Timico Technology Group, the internet and managed service provider, continues its ambitious expansion plans revealing that its Wirebird subsidiary will be rebranding to Timico Technology Services.

Timico Technology Group acquired London-based Wirebird in May 2015. Wirebird has been trading under its own name since then, but will now rebrand in response to increasing demand in the market from customers requiring comprehensive end-to-end voice and data solutions complete with a managed services offering.

Tim Radford, Chief Executive Officer at Timico Technology Group said: “The rebrand signifies another big step forward for Timico. Companies that have complex technology requirements want to keep things as straightforward as possible and work with one solutions provider that can advise and consult, and deliver all the technology and support they require. With this rebrand we can offer just that, and we’re delighted to welcome Wirebird under our banner.”

Nabeil Samara, managing director, Timico Technology Services, said: “Our portfolios of managed networks, UC and IT are a natural fit and the last year has demonstrated organic growth for both of us. We are now in a position to present our customers with a holistic end-to-end solution. Essentially it’s business as usual, but now customers have the advantage of accessing specialist skill sets and solutions from Timico Technology Group. The rebrand opens up opportunities for us and benefits customers by having leading solutions and expert support.”

“The Wirebird team have quickly become an integral part of the group and I am excited by the prospect of what they, as Timico Technology Services, will go on to achieve. For us, it’s all about managing the complete solution for our customers, end-to-end. The TTS portfolio of managed IT services slots in perfectly to our proposition, extending our infrastructure capability as a true supplier of choice to UK businesses” concludes Radford.

The Wirebird rebrand comes just weeks after Timico Technology Group was named as the new sponsor of the prestigious Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Timico Technology Group services the UK and international needs of over 15,000 clients from its head office in Newark, Nottinghamshire and five other offices nationwide.
