Self-optimizing network pioneer Reverb Networks has completed another successful SON technology trial in South America.
The trial, which was completed with the largest network operator in the geographical market, focused on the early detection of network anomalies, proactive reaction to expected network loads, and inter-operation with legacy OSS systems and processes. Reverb’s InteliSON demonstrated a significant improvement in network performance during the trial, which took place on an operational network.
Trial procedures monitored the ability to detect dynamic changes to network configuration introduced by various engineers processes, as well as the ability to detect and consider the impact of new cells brought on-air during the trial.
