Reverb Networks expands into Russian Federation with NVision partnership

Self-optimizing network pioneer Reverb Networks partners with NVision Group, one of the largest developers and suppliers of unique solutions and services in the Russian information technology market.

Sterling, Virginia, Thursday January 15, 2015

Self-optimizing network pioneer Reverb Networks has announced a new self-optimizing network partnership to serve mobile network customers in the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Armenia, and Belarus.

NVision Group has a strong presence in the Russian Federation including offices within Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus, as well as the Czech Republic.

“Networks in the Russian Federation can now get access to the best software SON available as well as superb local support and services via NVision Group,” said Zoran Kehler, Reverb Networks CEO. “We are very fortunate to have been able to form a partnership for self-optimizing networks with one of the Russian Federation’s top IT companies at a time when networks in the region are stretched to breaking point by demand for new services.”

NVision Group has strong experience with large-scale telecoms projects, including building the core of an LTE network and a hybrid TV platform deployment in Moscow, both for MTS, the country’s largest operator, and the creation of the IT and telecommunication infrastructure of sport facilities for the Kazan Universiade and the Sochi Olympics. This experience is expected to be very valuable during the preparation for the forthcoming football world championship.

“Reverb Networks is the only SON vendor who has the right combination of fully-featured self-optimizing software solution, large-scale deployment experience, intellectual property portfolio and long term though leadership. When combined with our own deployment expertise and understanding of the local market, this unique set of capabilities makes Reverb Networks and NVision a clear favorite for SON deployments in the Russian Federation”, said Vladimir Yasinsky, CEO NVision Czech Republic.
