Billing Transformation Key to Robi Axiata’s Success in Highly Profitable Customer Segments

WALTHAM, MA — SEPTEMBER 11, 2013 — NetCracker Technology and Robi Axiata announced today that Robi has selected NetCracker’s Revenue Management solution, integrating billing, interconnect billing, and credit control, to enable new service innovation and superior responsiveness to changing customer demands.

Robi Axiata is one of the three largest mobile operators in Bangladesh and supports more than 22 million subscribers. The company offers voice and high speed mobile data supported with advanced intelligent network technology.

NetCracker will replace a legacy billing system at Robi in order to increase flexibility and reduce OPEX. As a result of this billing transformation, Robi aims to introduce innovative price plans, accelerate new service rollouts, and enhance customer management. The integrated NetCracker solution will bill for all postpaid subscribers, roaming users, and interconnect agreements while also actively monitoring usage, credit, rating, and new price plans.
