Rocket Internet Selects Level 3’s Services to Expand Its Reach in Brazil
SAO PAULO, Feb. 19, 2013 – Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NYSE: LVLT) announced Rocket Internet, a global e-commerce website developer headquartered in Germany, is expanding its reach in Brazil by using Level 3’s hosting and network services for its servers.
As part of the agreement, Level 3 provides hosting services for Rocket’s websites at its data center located in Cotia, São Paulo. Operating in Brazil since 2011, Rocket Internet develops retail websites with a focus on sportswear, children’s products, handicrafts and home goods.
