End users will benefit from a unified entertainment experience across all devices with live TV and video on demand available from one application.

Jason Keane, President of Saffron Digital said, “Today’s cable network consumers expect full on-the-go multi-platform access as part of their subscription and that includes access to both live and on-demand content. We have teamed up with Nowtilus to enable broadcasters and operators to deliver them that seamless, integrated TV Everywhere experience. This new solution combines our award winning on-demand services and Nowtilus’s live OTT services in one great consumer experience, which we are really excited to be launching at NAB this month.”

The new partnership enhances MainStage with state of the art features and functionalities that include live feed acquisition, EPG acquisition and management, live workflow and bundling, NDVR, dynamic ad-replacement and insertion, DRM for live streams, application integration, DASH playback and reporting.

“We’re pleased to partner with Saffron Digital to offer operators and programmers a simplified and cost-efficient TV Everywhere solution,” said Patrick Knippel, Managing Director of Nowtilus. “The integration of our cloud-based live and catch up workflow management NEMO BRIDGE with Saffron Digital’s proven MainStage OTT platform provides a complete solution for an exceptional entertainment experience.” added Leander Carell, Managing Director of Nowtilus.
