Sencore to Offer End-to-End Monitoring Through Integration With Harmonic IRIS® QoS Solution
LAS VEGAS — April 16, 2012 — Sencore, a leading provider of signal quality and video delivery solutions, has integrated its Sencore VideoBRIDGE monitoring solution with Harmonic’s IRIS® video quality monitoring and analytics system, to deliver an end-to-end video monitoring and analysis solution.

The Sencore VideoBRIDGE family enables monitoring of transport packets on IP, ASI, and RF interfaces for continuous quality assurance of streaming media in a variety of compression schemes, including MPEG-2 and MPEG-4. Harmonic’s IRIS video quality-of-service (QoS) software suite provides video quality, global channel availability, and source profiling measurements for hundreds of programs, both in real time and historically for up to one year. Through the integration with the VideoBRIDGE monitoring system, users of IRIS-enabled Harmonic encoders will be able to extract picture quality metrics from the encoder and access key network metrics for IP and RF distribution systems.

The integrated monitoring and analysis system will be demonstrated at Sencore’s booth SU3612 at the 2012 NAB Show in Las Vegas, April 16-19.
