Setting edge data centers up for success – network reliability in the age of remote working

by Administrator

Edge computing brings information delivery functionality closer to the data’s source. It is the next generation of infrastructure for the internet and the cloud – and it is experiencing rapidly accelerated growth. By 2025, it is expected that edge computing will be a $17.8bn business, up from an estimated US$8bn in 2019, and 75% of all data will be processed at the edge. At the same time. North America will likely be at the forefront, with sales of edge computing products, services and solutions in the US set to amount to 38% of the total global market by 2025.
