SHABABIAH LINKS UP WITH KNOWLEDGE HORIZON FOR e-LEARNING

Muscat, 16 August 2011 – Shababiah and Knowledge Horizon have joined forces to give their mutual customers an unbeatable e-learning deal. Shababiah customers can now take advantage of e-learning courses covering key workplace skills, for a heavily discounted price of RO 11 instead of the usual RO 30.

“We’ve partnered with Knowledge Horizon to give Shababiah customers this fantastic opportunity to upgrade their existing knowledge and skills or learn new ones,” said Shababiah’s Omar Nazih Kamel Azar. “It’s another great reason to be part of the dynamic Shababiah community.”

Shababiah is the mobile service powered by Nawras that is specifically designed for anyone under 25 years old.  Shababiah customers can talk to their friends for only 29 Baiza per minute and send an SMS for 9 Baiza as well enjoy free Rannati subscription, exclusive mobile entertainment services, free birthday SMS and now  discounted e-learning courses too.

The Shababiah-Knowledge Horizon offer is for the Animated Business Concepts (ABC) portfolio – professional online courses that include financial accounting, financial management and an introduction to statistics – all vital for today’s workplace and job market,” explained Abeer Al Jassim, General Manager of Knowledge Horizon.

The courses are offered in online mode and can be accessed anywhere at any time through Knowledge Horizon’s websites and online learning platforms.

“ABC is an innovative approach to learning and extremely learner-centred. As the name suggests, animations and graphics are a key part of how the subject matter is presented. The way that the content is delivered will help learners understand with ease, retain important information and above all enjoy the learning process,” explains Al Jassim.

“We’ve put together this competitive package so that the courses are within the reach of anyone who wants to leverage the power of e-learning to upgrade their knowledge and skills,” added Al Jassim.

Those interested in taking advantage of this great offer can find out how easy it is to get started by simply calling 95306088 or by visiting www.nawras.om or www.knowledgehorizon.com.

ABC courses are designed for people without any prior knowledge of the subject matter and suitable for all English speaking learners. Courses have already been running successfully through Knowledge Horizon centres around the Middle East.

“Knowledge Horizon’s vision is to make learning simple, enjoyable and easily accessible. This link-up with Shababiah gives us the opportunity to do exactly that,” said Al Jassim.
