SIS Rolls Out Suite of Spanish League Data Products

Satellite Information Services (SIS), the leading provider of end-to-end products and services to the betting and broadcast industries, is launching a range of dynamic, innovative data products from Spanish league football, geared to the betting market.
SIS signed a three-year agreement in August with the Liga de Futbol Profesional to become the league’s official, exclusive partner for collection and distribution of live data from more than 2,500 matches covering three leagues, across six divisions, per season.
Since the league season kicked off in August, SIS data scouts have been collecting live statistics from matches in the Liga BBVA (La Liga), Liga Adelante, Segunda Division B, the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa.
Using proprietary gathering tools, SIS is now able to provide a range of high-quality, pre-match, in-running and post-match data feeds and products tailored to bookmakers’ needs, with further developments to come.

Fixtures – Fixtures for matches from the above competitions will be delivered for event creation and display.
SIS Incident Feed delivered from in venue – This will facilitate the direct integration of live events into a bookmaker’s back-end solution. Using in-stadium data gathering, live from the venue, SIS provides team line-ups and substitutes pre-match.
During the game, SIS provides a wide range of in-running live match information delivered accurately and securely and in a timely fashion to aid in-house trading. Alert and danger messages direct to the trading room include fouls, corners, throw-ins, free-kicks, penalty awards and goals. The Incident Feed is designed to help traders drive price changes and market making/suspension.
SIS Trader Console – SIS has developed a user interface through which traders can view the full Incident Feed data. A football pitch representation will show when there is danger or when traders can suspend betting.
Live Match Summary – This is ideal for driving consumer-facing platforms and SIS is delivering goals with scorer and time, red and yellow cards, substitutes and penalties.

Liga BBVA, won last season by Atletico Madrid ahead of Barcelona and Real Madrid, is watched by more than 300 million viewers across the globe. The three-year data agreement was awarded to SIS following a competitive tender process.
