SmartJog selects CoreSite’s One Wilshire data center campus in Los Angeles for its Cloud4Media solution

Las Vegas, NV – April 8, 2013 – SmartJog today announced at NAB Show 2013 that it has selected CoreSite’s network-dense, cloud-enabled data center solution in Los Angeles to power its Cloud4Media platform. The multi-year agreement will expand the platform’s global footprint, providing media customers with a flexible, efficient and secure global solution to manage their content.

With clients in 65 countries and with more than 2,000 sites connected to its private network, SmartJog, a TDF Group company based in Paris, Los Angeles and Madrid, is a leader in secure, managed cloud storage and delivery services for the media industry. SmartJog is expanding its services in 2013 to include Cloud4Media, a unique global SaaS solution for digital storage, repurposing and secure media exchange.

“SmartJog is thrilled to be working with CoreSite at their One Wilshire campus in Los Angeles,” said Christiane Ducasse, President, SmartJog USA. “CoreSite’s cloud-enabled data centers provide us with a unique advantage—they deliver the connectivity, flexibility and scale we need to meet the high demand for our Cloud4Media solution worldwide.”

CoreSite’s One Wilshire data center campus provides access to over 180 networks and a community of 72 cloud and 55 content providers. It powers and interconnects an ecosystem of media and entertainment firms, gaming companies, post-production facilities, social networking sites, and enterprises in Los Angeles and across the country. This data center campus also provides global connectivity, particularly to the Asia Pacific region.

“We are excited to welcome SmartJog to the CoreSite customer community, known as the Mesh, at our One Wilshire campus,” said Jarrett Appleby, COO, CoreSite. “They will be joining a broad ecosystem of media and content customers in Los Angeles and around the world who have selected the flexibility, guaranteed performance, and community of customers within CoreSite’s data centers”.

SmartJog SaaS solutions store assets in mirrored data centers—in France and Los Angeles—for customer peace-of-mind. Cloud4Media is available via SmartJog’s web-based portal or via an API for web services integration. To learn more or to request a meeting at NAB Show 2013, clients can contact sales@smartjog.com.
