SocialRadar Expands Its Presence Overseas and is Now Available On the App Store in UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada

LONDON, May 21, 2014 – Starting today, SocialRadar, the innovative social networking app for iPhone that gives you real-time information about the people around you, is available for download in U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. The company recently launched its first iPhone and Google Glass apps in the U.S. After strong momentum and positive reviews in the U.S. market, SocialRadar is going global, expanding to five new English-speaking countries and bringing the power of social and professional connections to people around the world.

Chasen recently presented on a panel at the Open Mobile Summit where he announced the expansion of the app into the new countries. He discussed the app’s robust underlying technology infrastructure that allowed the company to quickly scale making global expansion a reality.
SocialRadar combines real-time social network information with geo-location data in an app that is simple and fun to use. By merging data from all of the top social networks, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Foursquare and Google+ with live location information from your iPhone, you can instantly know who’s in the room. When you attend a conference, go to an event or even enter your favorite restaurant you’ll be able to see who is there, know how you are connected and what they have been up to recently. The app also gives users full control over privacy settings, enabling you to share information publicly, with friends only, anonymously, or be entirely invisible at any point.
The SocialRadar App is available for free on the App Store at www.AppStore.com/SocialRadar. At the moment, distance measurements on SocialRadar will only be available in Imperial units but will soon convert to the Metric system.
