· iPEN enhances contextual marketing opportunities for telecom operators, offering a personalized experience to every customer thereby increasing revenue generation
New Delhi, November 16, 2015: Spice Digital’s iPEN (intelligent post event notification), a contextual marketing platform has been successfully running in India with several telecom operators. After receiving a great response from customers across India, Spice Digital which is a part of the Spice Connect Group, is now planning to expand the service base in the Middle East region as well.
iPEN is a VAS marketing tool that delivers personalized messages to customers by suggesting a Next Best Action to customers at the end of a call/data session. iPEN uses advanced analytics such as user profiles, consumption trends, last actions like end of a voice call, data session, recharge history, change in balance, thresholds etc to trigger an intelligent and interactive marketing campaign delivered over multiple channels like USSD, SMS, OBD and email.
As a great tool for marketers, iPEN offers Interactive and Personalized Communication, relevant Offers, targeted campaigns with Micro Segmentation along with Multiple Language Support. In addition, the tool also provides a rich Graphical interface for Marketing Teams to create dynamic products and measure the efficacy of campaigns with an integrated and flexible reporting engine.
The company recently launched iPEN in association with Videocon and the customer response has been very encouraging. With micro-segmentation, iPEN is enabling Videocon to generate about a billion impressions for specials offers for customers and this has resulted in a significant surge in the operator’s revenue.
This unique solution can help marketers significantly increase their revenues with the ability to deliver contextual offers to consumers. Some key usage scenarios can be – new service launches, loyalty programs for prepaid customers based on recharge value, customer feedback surveys and regular end of event notifications. A prepaid user is highly engaged with the device as he checks his balance after every event and this customer tendency ensures a very high visibility for the offer.
Mr. Saket Agarwal, Global CEO, Spice Digital says, “In India, we have already deployed iPEN with several leading telecom players who have thereby witnessed a significant increase in overall business revenues. After a successful launch in India, we are expecting a similar response from key telco groups in the Middle East including STC, Zain, MTN, Etisalat, Ooredoo, Orange and Vodafone which have large affiliate presence, and at the same time are looking for solutions to monetise their current UnR Products and VAS.”
