MOSCOW, Russia – Nov. 17, 2011 – SPIRIT DSP, the world’s top voice and video over IP engines provider, today announced availability of TeamSpirit® Voice&Video Engine Tablet for iOS and Android tablet devices. TeamSpirit Tablet turns any tablet computer into a high quality HD, multipoint videoconferencing endpoint. The software development kit (SDK) allows service providers, application developers and device manufacturers to quickly launch voice and video calling services for today’s hundreds of millions of tablet computer users.
TeamSpirit Tablet is a complete communications client-side voice and video engine, specifically adopted for tablets with 7 to 12 inch screen sizes, touch screen user interfaces and all available types of Internet connection support. TeamSpirit Tablet is designed to deliver high quality, hands-free audio using SPIRIT’s IP-MRTM (IP Multi Rate), wideband, scalable and error-resilient voice codec (IETF RFC 6262) and H.264 scalable HD video (up to 720p HD resolution) on the most popular iOS and Android-based tablet computers.
