Paris, 10 July 2014MIPCOM announces today that Steve Mosko, President of Sony Pictures Television (SPT), will give the keynote address at the global entertainment content market on Monday 13 October, as part of MIPCOM’s Media Mastermind Keynote Series, focus on The Global Quest for Original Content.

Organised by Reed MIDEM, the 30th anniversary of MIPCOM will take place in Cannes, France, from 13-16 October 2014.

During his inaugural MIPCOM keynote interview, Steve Mosko will talk about Sony Pictures Television’s unrivalled expertise in producing, distributing and acquiring the most innovative content for a truly global audience. The keynote interview will focus on everything from SPT’s international phenomenon Breaking Bad to its ratings-winning hit The Blacklist and innovative new commission Powers, as well as striking landmark deals with global TV partners like Televisa and producers like CSI’s Carol Mendelsohn and George Clooney’s Smokehouse Pictures.  SPT’s President will talk about why he believes the studio’s independence and innovative spirit is serving them well in what is certainly the “golden age of television.”
