Tail-f Systems Joins Open Networking Foundation to Drive Multi-vendor Configuration Management for Software-Defined Networking
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN – October 31, 2012 – Tail-f Systems, the leading provider of multi-vendor configuration management and network automation software, today announced that it has joined the Open Networking Foundation (ONF), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting a new approach to networking called Software-Defined Networking (SDN).
As a member of ONF, Tail-f will contribute its experience and expertise in areas that include the role of NETCONF and YANG in automating the configuration of Software-Defined Networks. The company will actively contribute to ONF working groups to further establish SDN standards and specifications in the area of manageability.
