Taiwan Star Telecom Signs Multi-Year Agreement for NetCracker Revenue Management Solution and Managed Services
Taiwan Star Acquires Vibo and Extends Strategic Partnership with NetCracker for Managed Billing Operations
BARCELONA, SPAIN — March 2, 2015 — NetCracker Technology announced today that Taiwan Star Telecom has agreed to a multi-year extension of NetCracker’s Remote Managed Services for its billing operations.
Taiwan Star Telecom is a 4G mobile operator based in Taipei, Taiwan. In June 2014, Taiwan Star acquired 3G operator Vibo, making it one of the leading mobile operators in the Taiwanese market. Vibo has been a NetCracker customer since 2003, with NetCracker taking responsibility for Vibo’s billing operations via a remote managed services model.
The selection of NetCracker by Taiwan Star Telecom as the platform of choice for the unified company recognizes that the high-quality solutions and services NetCracker delivered will be a strategic enabler for Taiwan Star as it expands in Taiwan’s increasingly competitive 4G marketplace.
