Sep 17, 2015

MANSFIELD, MA, September 17, 2015 — Telco Systems, the leading provider of innovative SDN & NFV, multi-service Carrier Ethernet 2.0 and MPLS edge solutions, today announced that it has introduced a new advanced 1G network interface device (NID) for delivering and managing business services and mobile backhaul for multi-carrier networks. The value-optimized CE 2.0 T-Marc® 3306 CPE demarcation device combines 8Gb switching capacity, Layer 2 QoS and HQoS functionality, high resiliency, and a host of essential features in a compact 1RU design.

“For service providers to succeed and thrive in the multi-carrier networking market, they must be able to provide and manage high quality, converged Ethernet services for business and mobile backhaul at a competitive price,” said Moshe Shimon, VP of Product Management and Marketing at Telco Systems. “T-Marc 3306 offers the comprehensive feature set they need in a low-CAPEX, high-performance device that integrates seamlessly into any network. It significantly reduces network operating costs while delivering high quality Layer 2 functionality.”

The MEF-compliant T-Marc 3306 offers extensive OAM tools and extended temperature support, which together with low power consumption ensure low TCO. It can be configured and managed by CLI, SNMP, Web GUI, or EdgeGenie Orchestrator management system. SyncE and 1588v2 timing support, dual tagging, service statistics and TWAMP round off the impressive feature set of the T-Marc 3306.

Telco Systems will be demonstrating T-Marc 3306 at the SDN & OpenFlow World Congress in Dusseldorf on October 13th in Booth #37, and at GEN15 in Dallas, Texas on November 16th in Booth #312. To schedule a meeting with Telco Systems at these events click here.
