Forum Offers a Prime Venue to Exchange Knowledge and Learn About the Latest in Deployable Communications Technologies and Satellite Services April 10-12

ANNAPOLIS, MD, Mar 28, 2012 — TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) (NASDAQ: TSYS), a world leader in highly reliable and secure mobile communication technology, today announced that the 8th annual SwiftLink(R) Users Forum will take place April 10-12, 2012 at Saddlebrook in Tampa, FL. This event gathers thought leaders to share knowledge and best practices related to highly secure managed satellite and deployable communication initiatives. In addition, TCS will present research and development initiatives and cyber security training classes and will offer hands-on demonstrations of SwiftCell, as well as select other solutions in the TCS TotalCom(TM) portfolio.

The SwiftLink suite of deployable communications solutions provides the seamless, secure network connection and application accessibility that government agencies and warfighters need for mission success. TCS’ robust portfolio of communications products includes a variety of flyaway and fixed VSAT terminals, executive communications and baseband network packages, as well as a host of complementary accessories and options.

During the two-day symposium, attendees will be able to take part in educational panel sessions on topics including:
